Agape Soccer Academy was founded in 2014 with a vision to provide a high-quality yet affordable soccer program for children of all ages. This non-profit organization prioritizes creating a safe environment for children to grow and learn together with a large focus on sportsmanship, hard-work, respect, and enhancing skills.

Founder and president, Coach Diego Perez was born in Cali, Colombia, where he learned to love and play “The Beautiful Game” of soccer starting at age 3. Coach Diego has played in several leagues in Colombia then moved to the U.S. to play college level soccer in Mississippi under a full scholarship. He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Southern Mississippi in Foreign Languages and is fluent in English, Spanish, French, and Italian.

Agape Soccer Academy was born out of Coach Diego’s love for soccer coupled with his passion for teaching. He considers it an honor and a privilege to invest his time, talents, and knowledge in the next generation of soccer players. Coach Diego’s hope and prayer is to instill into his students a love for the game and respect toward each other in a wholesome and safe environment. We are excited for all that this year will bring and look forward to seeing Agape Soccer Academy grow and thrive together with each of our students.
